BEVERAGES

During all events, a variety of 10oz and 16oz year-round and seasonal Rising Tide beers and hard seltzers will be available. Flights will not be offered during events.

Guests must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid ID to be served. See underaged guest policy below for more detail.

Rising Tide is the exclusive bar vendor for all events. Under no circumstances will a host be allowed to bring in their own alcoholic beverages. A selection of wines, hard cider, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available in addition to Rising Tide beer and hard seltzer for all events.


FOOD

Rising Tide now provides onsite catering from our kitchen, The Galley. Outside food is not permitted other than dessert from a licensed bakery or kitchen. Please note, the prices on the catering menu do not include restaurant tax or service charge. All appetizers are stationary and dinners are served buffet style. Please ask if you have any special requests or allergies.

 


AUDIO VISUAL

During fully private events the host may provide a music playlist either through a public Spotify playlist or device that can be connected to AirPlay or auxiliary cable.

Bands and DJs are welcome.

The East Room includes a projector and screen along with built-in speakers and an independent PA system with 2 microphones.

Hosts must communicate in advance if they wish to use any of our audio/visual equipment so that proper arrangements can be made.


BAR MINIMUMS

Semi-private events have a $200 bar minimum. Hosts may choose to offer an open bar, drink tokens, or pay as you go for guests.     

East Room events have a bar minimum that must be met and is based on final headcount. If the minimum is not reached, the host is responsible for covering the difference with 20% gratuity. Remaining balance of bar minimum cannot be used towards other purchases. Open bar events will also have a tip jar available during the event.

Cash bar events will be charged a gratuity of $20 per hour in advance. 

PLEASE NOTE: The bar minimum is not paid in advance. All bar costs are settled the night of the event. Drinks are charged to the open tab, guests’ individual tabs, or paid in cash as they are ordered throughout the event. Payment for the bar tab or to meet the minimum must be present at the event. 


SET-UP & BREAKDOWN

Set-up and breakdown time must be included within the rental period. Hosts will only have access to the East Room and Tented Patio (if applicable) 30 minutes prior to the event start time. If more than 30 minutes is needed for set up, this time will need to be reserved on the contract. Please note that our area is quite windy and any table decor under the tent should be simple and non-breakable. 

An additional fee will be charged for hosts arriving prior to or leaving after the agreed upon rental period.

Rising Tide staff will arrange the tables and chairs provided by the venue in the East Room according to a predetermined layout. If linen and floral needs are communicated and dropped off in advance, Rising Tide staff will lay linens and set centerpieces. Rising Tide is not responsible for any other set up or decor.

Hosts are welcome to bring in decorations. No confetti, glitter, or sand please. Rising Tide must approve any open flame prior to the event, scented candles are not allowed. Rising Tide staff will not accept any deliveries on behalf of a host. Host or host representative must coordinate scheduled deliveries with Rising Tide in advance and be present to accept each delivery. If working with an outside vendor for event decor, their set up and break down time must also be included in the rental period. Contact information for all outside vendors must be provided to Rising Tide prior to the event.


BOOKING & CANCELATION

A signed contract and a 20% deposit is required to reserve the date/time. Date/time is not reserved until the contract is signed and deposit is paid. The 20% deposit is non-refundable. If an event must be postponed due to inclement weather, the booking may be moved to another date at no additional cost, based on venue availability and Rising Tide’s discretion. Rising Tide reserves the right to cancel any event at our sole discretion. If Rising Tide cancels or postpones an event, reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule or deposit will be refunded.


PAYMENT

For all events, final headcount and remaining balance due must be provided 30 days prior to the event. The remaining balance will be charged to the authorized card on file at this time unless noted otherwise. Once this payment is made it is non-refundable.


PLANNING SCHEDULE

Rising Tide staff is not responsible for coordinating or overseeing your day-of timeline. Rising Tide staff is not responsible for setting up, replenishing, or breaking down outside catering during the event. 

A day-of coordinator, DJ, or designated MC is required for wedding receptions to help with your event timeline execution. 


ACCESSIBILITY

Our tasting room, East Room, and restrooms are all accessible.


UNDER-AGE GUESTS

Under-aged guests are welcome to attend events at Rising Tide. Under-age drinking is never tolerated. Any underage consumption will be grounds for immediate removal.


HOURS & LAST CALL

Last call is 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to end; the bar stops service 15 minutes before the event is scheduled to end.

Rising Tide reserves the right to adjust the timing of last call at their sole discretion. 

Breakdown and clean-up time must be built into your rental period if it will exceed 30 minutes. All events must end no later than 10pm with breakdown and clean up completed no later than 11pm. All belongings must be loaded out night of and cannot be stored onsite overnight. 

Semi-private events must take place during regular business hours. Please inquire about our seasonal business hours.


TAX & GRATUITY

8% restaurant tax is added to the price of all beverages. 20% gratuity is added to open bar tabs and to the difference when/if the bar minimum is not met. 8% restaurant tax, 20% gratuity, and a $50 flat rate gratuity is added to all catering items.

A gratuity of $20 per hour will be charged in advance to all cash bar events. 

A tip jar for your event staff/bartenders will be made available for all events and cannot be removed during the event.


SECURITY

Security may be required for your event based on headcount, end time, and nature of the event. This is arranged by Rising Tide and is $200 flat rate. Security may be added to your contract at any time based on Rising Tide’s discretion or changes in your headcount or event time.


LIABILITY

Event hosts are responsible for any damages caused to the venue by their guests. The venue must be left in the same condition it was in prior to the start of any event.

Rising Tide retains the right to hire onsite security for any event.  The cost of security will be added to the Event Rental fees.
