Unfortunately, we cannot allow dogs in our tasting room, however, your well-behaved furry companion is welcome to sit with you outside on our tar patio.

Our beers are not gluten-free, however, we do offer a selection of gluten-free options. We offer wine, cider, and gluten-free non-alcoholic options in our tasting room.

Yes.  The only beers we do not categorize as vegan are Pisces as it is brewed with free-range sea water and any beer that includes lactose.

Yes, flights of four 4oz pours are available. We also offer 10oz and 16oz pours.

Yes, we have a wide selection of beers available in kegs.  You can order a keg through our website.

Our most popular beer is our Maine Island Trail Ale. This is our summer seasonal and a portion of the proceeds support the Maine Island Trail Association who provides stewardship to the coastal islands of Maine.

Yes. You are welcome to bring in food. We do our best to have food trucks scheduled regularly and we also have a selection of Maine Made Pub Snacks and hot pretzels available in the tasting room.

We would be happy to send you a sticker to add to your collection!  Send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the brewery and we will return it with a Rising Tide sticker.

No, all of our beers are unfiltered.

Yes, we have many IPAs available including Zephyr, our year-round American IPA, Cutter our double IPA, and a variety of hazy New-England-style IPAs that are available on a rotating basis.

We host live music outside on our tar patio on Sundays, May-September from 1-4pm. Great way to spend a summer Sunday in Portland, Maine.

Yes, we host a variety of public events throughout the year. See our events page for more details on upcoming public events.  We also offer rental of our Tasting Room and East Room for private events.  Learn more about hosting your next event at Rising Tide.

We are currently closed to the public, we are open for drive-through to-go sales and home delivery.  Once we reopen we will relaunch our tour and tasting program.  Details can be found on our website. 

We opened in 2010 on Industrial Way down the street from Allagash. In 2012 we relocated to our current location on Fox Street.

We donate our spent grains to Hall Edge Farm to be used as animal feed.


We distribute in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.

We source our ingredients from all over the world. We strive to source locally as often as possible. We have committed to included local grains as a portion of the grain bill in every batch we brew.
