Charity Comedy Night @ Rising Tide Brewing to benefit Portland Trails! (PURCHASE TICKETS ONLINE HERE!)

Join us for a hilarious night of laughter and fun at Rising Tide Brewing Company in beautiful Portland, Maine. This in-person event promises to be a night to remember, all for a great cause! We’re partnering with Portland Trails to raise funds and support their mission of transforming Greater Portland into a healthier and better-connected community through a 70+ mile trail network.

Get ready to be entertained by some of the best local comedians who will have you rolling in the aisles. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a pint of delicious craft beer from Rising Tide Brewing Company while you laugh the night away.

Our comedians are experienced and professional, ready to give you a night of laughs! Your comedians for the evening are:

Host, Mark Moccia.

Headliner, Bryan Muenzer. Bryan is very tall in stature and short in attention span so his jokes are mostly quick one liners. His sense of humor derives from a blend of being awkwardly tall and just plain awkward. He was a finalist in the 2022 New England funniest Comedian contest and performs regularly in Boston and New York City.

Featuring:

Jennifer Dwyer. Jennifer Dwyer is a Boston based comic who has performed all over the country including at the world famous Comedy Cellar in NYC.

Michelle Lisi. Michelle is a local comic and writer. She lives in a dusty old house with two cats, one lizard, a teenage boy, and her husband. Please don’t tell her parents about this show.

Ian MacDonald. Growing up in Auburn, ME, Ian now spends his Winters, Springs, Summers, and Falls in Brunswick, ME. Ian was a contestant in The River Comics’ Maine’s Wicked Funny Laugh Off Contest 2021, finalist in Maine Event Comedy’s Tightest Five Competition, performed at the Bricks & Bridges Comedy Fest 2021, Portland Maine Comedy Festival 2022, third place finalist in New England’s Funniest Comedian Competition 2022, and was a regular performer at Empire Comedy Club, including the Make ME Laugh game show. His Mom will tell you he’s been doing comedy his entire life. Others may tell you his life is absurd. Specifically, Camus. To quote Ian, himself, from his upcoming book: “I like to hit things with sticks.” And, “I didn’t know what a River Comic was, but I knew I had to be one.”

Ian Rice. Ian developed his sarcastic, dry sense of humor growing up in the mean streets of Amherst, New Hampshire but started his comedy career when living in New Orleans, Louisiana after realizing he can neither cook, nor play music. He has opened for touring headliners Wes Cannon, Clark Taylor, and Chrissie Mayr, and hosted the New York Comedy Show at the Hell Yes! Comedy Fest. He currently lives in Maine and performs stand-up throughout most of New England.
